How to download nexus mod for xcom 2

I'm hoping the patch won't mess up the mod. Figured i'd try it. I could use the "ignore" mod but hopefully I wont need to.

Also how do I backup a save game? Where are the xcom save files located? Showing 1 - 4 of 4 comments. Edit: btw, why not NexusModManager? I can check if my mods have been updated with that. This is the only nexus mod I plan on using so far i'd use the mod manager for many but not one.

Ozymandias View Profile View Posts. I use NMM with all my games, it makes things easier really. Create the folder if you don't have it.

I wouldn't put it in workshop directory, or it might try to check for updates and all that. Then I guess unzipping the mod in there will create a proper subfolder named after the mod. I havn't tried in xcom 2, but in other moddable games like skyrim, mixing nexus and workshop works just fine, so it should not be an issue.

Mosey View Profile View Posts. It can be a problem but it's no more or less of an issue when using multiple Nexus or Workshop mods that overwrite portions of one another. You just need to be careful that the mods you're installing don't modify the same files, which becomes a bigger risk when mixing and matching since there will not be a notification that another mod has already changed the file in question if it's from a different installation source.

Using an external program because of "not knowing what they're doing" won't help at all since this already is the most simple procedure possible.
