Why does map mods not download on fs17

Install Steam. Store Page. Farming Simulator 17 Store Page. Global Achievements. Shuffle View Profile View Posts. So I download some mod maps, copy and paste them from downloads to mods folder, load fs17 and the maps aren't available to choose, as in, they aren't there.

What am I doing wrong? Showing 1 - 15 of 18 comments. I'm looking for a map that has plenty of factory productions in it. Was on Mavericks map for a while but it keeps crashing when trying to load. Stuck on the "game loading please wait screen" Happened to me twice now. Send me a link when you can if it works please. Tried the 1 off fs17 main site and comes up with Giants engine software program error when it's loading..

Even the ones from Giant website. For example, I got the roll-off trailers, but I can't get the 2 trucks for it. I got the lights that you can pull behind your tractor, but not the ones that look like pole lights.

Now if Giant puts them for us to download in the actual game, then those ones will work. I've seen where you unzip the downloaded mods and put them into your mods folder. I've also seen where you put the actual zip file in it.

Neither has helped. And none of the videos or post that I've found so far, have their game under "program files".

That's where my pc put it when I downloaded it from Amazon. Any ideas? Should I see how to un-install them and try again?? But I would have to have help there. No idea on how to do it. Randy View Profile View Posts. First thing you need to do is to check the log file. It will let you know if its fs17 mods or not, and furthermore whats wrong if it is fs17 mods.

I've downloaded Horsch plows from 3 different sites all for FS 17 files unzipped put all files in the correct folders and location, open game looked in the mods page Looked in the store page not there, all suggestions here still not working.
